The Legacy of Macho D' Monte
Our Heritage & Ancestral Roots
Born from the rugged terrains where the legendary burro 'Macho' once carried the heavy burdens of harvest, our story is one of resilience and respect. For generations, the craft of tequila has been passed down through our master agave farmers and master distillers lineage, preserving methods that honor the spirit's sacred origin from the blue agave fields from the highlands of Arandas, Mexico.
Uncompromising Craftsmanship
Stone Milling
We honor ancestral methods by using a traditional volcanic stone tahona to gently crush our cooked agave, preserving the complex fibers and essential oils.
Slow Cooking
PiƱas are slow-roasted in masonry ovens for up to 72 hours, a patient process that transforms starches into honey-sweet sugars for a smoothest spirit.
Small-Batch Distillation
Double-distilled in small copper pot stills, our tequila achieves a purity and clarity that highlights the true essence of 100% Highland Blue Weber Agave.
Cultivating a Future Rooted in Tradition
Our commitment to sustainability is as deep as the roots of our agave. We employ regenerative farming practices that honor the Jalisco soil, ensuring every harvest preserves the land for generations to come. From solar-powered distillation to water reclamation, our process is a closed-loop system designed to minimize our footprint while maximizing the purity of our spirit.
The Macho D' Monte Mission
Our mission is to preserve the ancestral spirit of tequila through uncompromising craftsmanship and a deep respect for the land that sustains us. Every bottle is an invitation to join us in honoring the heritage of the agave and the legacy of the Macho.
